Hokkaido is the second largest and located northernmost of Japan’s four main islands. Its weather is harsh in winter with much snowfall, below zero degree temperatures and frozen seas, while in summer it does not get as hot and humid as in the other parts of the country. It is known as good summer resort, very comfortable to stay even in summer season. Not only foreign but also many Japanese people go to Hokkaido to avoid hotness in summer. Hokkaido is very popular location for pre wedding and wedding ceremony too as you can take photo with snow scene, flower landscape and vast land. Especially Furano, Biei, Otaru and Takikawa are too famous for pre wedding and even sightseeing. These three cities are called “三都 three capitals”, and very popular for foreign tourists. Compared to Osaka and Kobe cities Kyoto is not very modern city, but no city in Japan offers traditional scene and atmosphere like Kyoto. Luckily Kyoto is removed from the list of target cities for the atomic bomb in world war II, so lots of historical temples, shrines and other structures still survive today in the city. Our recommendation: Kinkakuji temple (金閣寺), Kiyomizu temple (清水寺), Arashiyama (嵐山)

Nara

Nara was Japan’s first permanent capital that established in the year 710 and had continued till 794. In 2010, festivities are in the works to celebrate 1,300th anniversary. Because Nara is located in Kansai area and it remains historical temple, shrine and structures, Nara is still very popular spot for sightseeing like Kyoto. Nara park is one of the most popular spots in Nara. At Nara park there are lots of wild deer liked by visitor from children to adult because of their charming character. It is also good location for pre wedding and its vast space offers different landscape and suits Japanese Kimono and western outfits. It only take less than one hour to Osaka and Kyoto by Kintetsu Railway and West Japan Railway so many people stay at Nara during their trip and visit Osaka, Kyoto and Kobe instead of staying at city. Our recommendation: Toudaiji temple (東大寺), Nara Park (奈良公園)
